What this work commits to.

Its scope, its limits, and what you can rely on from it.

These commitments exist to be clear. Some of them draw a boundary between this training and something it is not. In this one page, those distinctions are the explicit work.

Educational and capacity-building

This is a training, not a treatment. Its aim is to equip you with understanding and capacity. It develops steadiness, attunement, and the ability to stay present and regulated under pressure. It does not diagnose, assess, or prescribe.

It invites attention, not disclosure

The sessions work through understanding and practice. They will ask you to pay attention to your own state and responses. They will not ask you to excavate your history or disclose material you have not chosen to bring. What you share is yours to determine.

Not therapy, and does not replace it

This training is educational. It is not therapy, does not function as therapy, and is not a substitute for it. If therapeutic support is what you need, this is not the appropriate response to that need, and we will say so. For parents who are also in therapy, the work can sit alongside it without conflict.

It does not resolve your own history

Understanding where a pattern came from is not the same as resolving it at its root. This training can help you recognise the patterns that cross over from your own history into your parenting, and give you practical tools for working with them in the moment. It does not do the deeper work of resolving the underlying material. That work exists, is valuable, and is held separately.

Deeper work is held separately, and chosen freely

Some parents, through this training, recognise that they want to explore their own history more deeply. That possibility is held in a separate container and made available when it is wanted. It is never a condition of this training, never presented as what you should do next, and never a funnel. The choice and the timing belong to you.

Presence is the foundation. Capacity is the aim. Responsibility is the commitment.
